Honeywell
Yep, first Inkwell, now Honeywell. Great hardcore turned screamo band from the 90s that use a lot of audio clips in-between songs, which I think is pretty rad. For fans of Reach Out and Heroin.

Shroomunion
Goofy name, really good band. I don't think very much is known about these guys other than they are an emo band that existed during the mid-90s. Few of the members went to play in Still Life, a few went on to play in Driftwood. Instantly addicting.

Switzerland
When I first heard this band, I thought the singer's voice was a little cheesy because of the accent (being a band from Derby, UK), but I quickly got used to it. This is another band full of kids who are really good at their instruments. Reminds me a lot of Midwest Pen Pals. And the song Rice and Raisins just slays me. Seriously, one of the best songs I've heard in a while.

Monument
When I first heard this band, I basically bought everything they had to offer, and they sent me so much more. They are an emo band from Washington D.C. They are influenced by Braid and American Football and it definitely shows. But also if you like Snowing, you should definitely check them out. Here's their myspace too in case you decide to buy their stuff, which I highly recommend. They seem like great guys.

Age Sixteen
There really aren't any other bands that sound like these guys, which is what makes them that much more awesome and unique. Screamo band from Baltimore. GREAT vocals with clean riffs and siq drumming. Definitely for fans of Boy Problems or Harrison Bergeron
Open Up Finders, Please
Spy Versus Spy
Another band that doesn't get all the recognition they deserve, but damn are they good. From the U.K. formed in 1998. Part of the post-hardcore binge I seem to be going on lately. Seriously though...so good

The Microphones
Oh man, what to say about this band. I've been listening to The Microphones ever since my sophmore year in high school when I dated this guy with all the in's to the K Records/Marriage Records music scene. Adrian Orange, Karl Blau, Andrew Kaffer, Kimya Dawson...they were all great but this one stuck with me the most. Not only is Phil Elvrum one of the greatest song writers, IMO, but his combination of loud drumming, static, bells, some insane guitar riffs followed by some mellow acoustic strumming, and his quite voice coming through all of it just makes me melt every time. There are a lot of good albums by The Microphones, including It Was Hot We Stayed in the Water and Mount Eerie, but The Glow Pt. 2 is definitely a must, at first. Phil Elvrum is currently focused on his band called Mount Eerie, which is more on the electronic side and which I less prefer, but it's still great.
